Rubbermaid Bento Boxes ~ Divide and Conquer the Clutter

My little organizing heart skipped a beat when I saw the new Rubbermaid Bento Boxes, one look and I thought, “practical, functional, and really cute”! Rubbermaid never fails with me, even from the simplest of storage containers yet the RubbermaidBento Boxes raises the bar for me when it comes to home organization. And, I was very happy to have been sent them for review.

The thing with Rubbermaid Bento Boxes is that they help store the little things that can really mess up your home. One look in most junk drawers or counters {maybe piled in a closet} and its true that the little items and the to-do piles really do need a proper place in the home. My to-do paper piles and little odds and ends are most likely the messiest parts of any room, upon first glance. Yet, you really can’t store these items too far away, or they can easily become forgotten.  But, to put an ordinary storage box on the counter isn’t ideal, so at least want something that looks good – and that’s exactly this product.

Key to the Rubbermaid Bento Box design is the organization within the storage, the internal flex dividers inside each box. These enable you to divide the space by creating sections when needed. When you don’t need the dividers, they just fold along the sides of the boxes, and out of the way. Plus, the boxes themselves are different sizes and can be stacked vertically, or fit inside each other. The Bento Toppers {lids to the boxes} can act as trays too, so if you want, you can have addition items on top, yet have the edging so the items don’t fall out.

Right now I use one for my Christmas cards, envelopes and addresses. Usually around this time of year all my piles of Christmas to-dos are just in an ugly pile on the counter. Yet now they are organized nicely and can still be out as a reminder to get them filled out and mailed. As well, I have another one storing all my photography gear – cameras, cords and manuals. The other holds magazines and books, with the remotes on top using the topper. See, so many ideas for storgage with these!

The Bento Box Collection is made from sturdy materials, they aren’t the lightest boxes out there. Yet the heavy-duty yet decorative fabric is for quality and allows it to be an attractive addition to your space. Like I said, “practical, functional, and really cute”!

Rubbermaid Bento Boxes with toppers are available in three colors: The Chadwick, Loose Linen or the Paprika {like the ones I received}. Perfect for yourself or anyone that needs a little organization. Yet, I bet the person receiving these boxes won’t be offended at all, but thankful to have them since it is such a great accessory to the home.

One winner will receive a Rubbermaid Bento Box 6-pc set from Rubbermaid {$113.93 ARV}

    I need to organize my HOUSE! I really need to organize my family photos, I’m trying to make photo books for my mom & dad and my InLaws and it’s a huge task.
    I have piles upon piles of photos and discs. I want to jump in but it’s so hard to go through every picture and disc whenever I want to work on the books. If I had these boxes I could organize once and breath.
    Thanks
