Invisalign Teen {Info and a Chance to Win an Invisalign Treatment}

Invisalign is not a new topic on My Organized Chaos. Early last month I discussed my own personal story behind my discomfort with my crooked teeth, I even made a video sharing my story and telling you why I think checking out Invisalign is so important. If you have had or do have crooked teeth, you’ll know that discomfort and self-conscious feeling that I am talking about. It wasn’t easy for me to go on video and explain my story, especially face to face like that. Having crooked teeth affects so many aspects of your life, including the way you talk and interact with other people. I even subconsciously hide my smile to even my closest of friends all the time. It’s sad that it’s become such a negative part of my life. As an adult, it makes me sad to think of how having crooked teeth has affected my personality for so many years.

Do you or your teen need braces yet shutter at the thought of being a ‘metal mouth’{I do!}. This term ‘metal mouth’ is harshly and literally true. And that is one of the reasons why I’d consider getting Invisalign for my daughters one day {and even for myself}. When compared to usual metal braces, Invisalign really is the clear alternative. And, it can fix some of the most common dental problems; Overly crowded teeth, widely spaced teeth, crossbite, overbite and underbite.

For teens especially, Invisalign fits into theirs and the parents’ busy and chaotic lives. It means less time in the chair or at emergency visits due to broken wires or brackets. Plus, teens can still play sports and musical instruments while wearing Invisalign. There’s also the aesthetic advantages, since they are clear plastic aligners which straighten teeth over time. Another benefit is that Invisalign can be taken out to eat and drink or to take care of dental hygiene such as brushing and flossing. This all means less stress on the already impressionable teenagers’ lives.
