It started as a passion for the yummy lip balm in my teens, and years later I still adore
The Body Shop. These days, I am really enjoying the make-up available at The Body Shop,
for the variety, great cost and fabulous colors.
I recently got to try out the Shimmer Cube Palette O20 (New Moon) and the Carbon Eye Definer in Carbon Brown. The shimmer cubes are 4 shadows conveniently cased in one palette. You have the option of wearing them wet or dry, and dry is my usual choice. Yet, I have been wearing them wet lately, I have found they last longer in the hot summer sun.
The colors are perfect for my skin tone and are ones that I would normally gravitate to. Plus, they compliment each other so well {Indigo Blue, Starlight Silver, Snow White and Midnight Black}. The Carbon Eye Define is easy to apply and doesn’t have that hard-poke-your-eyes-out texture. You know those ones, ladies! I threw out a couple of my other eyeliners after receiving this one as I like the look and it’s gentler to apply. Depending on where I put the colors and how much of the Eye Define and Shadows I use,
they can all be used for daily wear and also for more of a striking evening look.
One other product from The Body Shop which is note-worthy is the Body Body Butter Duo in Floral Acai. This way I can have both my favorite regular moisturizer and my butter {for the really dry areas such as feet and elbows} in one reach. So handy! And, I adore the Floral Acai scent too, it’s no wonder that the body butters are sold every 3 seconds around the world! Great stuff!
