{not so} Wordless Wednesday ~ Little Helpers

kid

This Mom isn’t alone with house work, I have 3 little helpers! I have to rush like mad to get all glass and sharpies out of there – because as soon as that dishwasher is opened, I hear the pitter-patter of the helpers coming to assist! ‘I dooo itttt!’ they yell. Just a piece of my daily life and one of the things that make me smile!

  1. That’s funny! It’s help, yet sometimes it’s nice to get the job done yourself too. My two year old has to do everything himself as well.

    1. Yes, they are in that ‘dooo ittt’ stage – getting themselves dressed takes forever these days!

  2. I completely know what you go through…except mine only wants to climb into the dishwasher and live there! Your girls are adorable!

    1. Thanks Tara!
They need to do it all now – takes me twice as long to get anything done, but watching them do this kind of stuff is just priceless!

  3. Thanks for letting me link up! I love looking at everyone’s (usually) funny and cute pictures 😀

  4. those are some hard working helpers.
including children in tasks around the house is a great way to build togetherness. well done

  5. Oh man! You’re such a lucky momma. When our dishwasher finishes I heart feet running AWAY from the kitchen. 🙂

  6. enjoy it while you can because the day will come when all you’ll hear is…”Awww, do I have to?”

  7. I miss that magic, helpful age. Mine is now passed it, and into telling me that I’m a stepmother when I ask her to put her folded clothes away. Haha, out of the mouths of babes!

    1. That is so funny Lindsay!
Once I asked my daughter to do something for me {she was 5 at the time} and she looked at me and said,
“What do I look like? Cinderella?”
      🙂

  9. While it’s only one pair of little helping hands over here. my eldest has the same dishwasher obsession. She literally begs me to empty the dishwasher. She gets so excited and loves helping so much that it’s pretty amusing. Makes me smile too. That’s a lot of colouful plastic-ware in your pic. I think I need to invest in some more non-china, so having a helper isn’t so nerve-wracking.

    1. I’m wondering if there’ll ever be a day I can have actual matching non-plastic dishes again?!
      🙂
