Netflix Canada Giveaway {8 winners!}

Tiny confession here: I adore watching award shows. Part of it is to see who wins in the categories, yet I also like to soak in the celebrity night. The outfits, who’s with whom, speeches – it’s the total thrill of the event. Yet I, like many others, tune out for certain categories in which I have no idea what they are talking about. Unless it’s a top show/movie that has generated a lot of buzz, the smaller independent films and documentaries go completely over my head. Many of these films don’t even make it to theaters.
This one of the reasons why I like Netflix so much {so glad they came to Canada!}, it’s like having a mini film festival from the comforts of home. Not only do they have some popular films and series from old to recent – but there are also choices of films which I might not have even considered watching – and independent ones that have been award winners!

Many times my hubby and I browsed the Netflix selection and recalled many movies which we had heard so much about. It’s a great reminder of the variety and true gems out there! As well, when you don’t have to go out to get rentals and you can sample any program with no cost or inconvenience for just $7.99 a month – why not? Even if you only watch a few movies a month, and your kids watch a few kids’ programs occasionally – it’s worth it.

Netflix Canada put together a little package for myself, friends and my readers – and the focus is to watch and enjoy awards shows.
