Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Ballet Adventures DVD

‘Doda’ {Dora} is said by my twins many times these days, they adore Dora and her friends! Since the show doesn’t air at a time when we are usually home, I depend on few DVD’s when they request to watch Dora. Nickelodeon is back with Dora the Explorer: Dora’s Ballet Adventure, a compilation DVD containing four dancing episodes. It’s being released exclusively at Target on February 20th {Target will soon be in Canada too!}. When I got an advance copy for review, the girls were really happy {I think mainly because it was *new* Dora, and we all needed a break from watching the ‘ol standby’s}. They especially liked the episode ‘Surprise’, featuring Boots. The twins have a lot of coloring books and reading books with Boots in them, they hardly, mention ‘Doda’ without a mention of her pal, Boots!

This DVD has the following episodes, for a running time of 95 minutes:

Dora’s Ballet Adventure: Watch as Dora gets ready for a special dance recital. However, she needs ballet slippers and the Delivery Duck brings her scuba flippers instead of ballet slippers. Now, Dora and Boots most find the ballet slippers before the recital begins.

Dora, La Musico: Join Dora and Boots as they lead the parade over Piano Bridge and through Singing Gate to free the instruments locked up by Señor Shhh.

The Super Silly Fiesta: Dora and Boots get invited to the Big Red Chicken’s Super Silly Fiesta. It’s going to be a big bash with snacks, games, and silly dancing. However, the Big Red Chicken lost the party cake. So Dora and Boots set out to find the missing cake.

Surprise: Today is Boots’ birthday and everyone is waiting at Dora’s house. Help Boots and Dora climb a long flight of stairs and a Troll bridge to get to Dora’s house and the party.

Disclosure: I was provided with product to facilitate this post, opinions are my own.
