Spread Holiday Joy with The Body Shop

The Body Shop has so many decant line out right now, all perfect for this winter season. Here are a few collections to which I received an assortment of products from The Body Shop, for review.

One of my favorites has to be the festively fruity Cranberry Joy range, which is no surprise since this collection is the best-selling holiday favorite from The Body Shop, and loved all over the world. I just adore the scent, pomegranate products are always a hit with me. Plus, the rich packaging is a perfect touch for a regal looking gift! I am treating myself with the Cranberry Joy Body Butter right now. It’s a nice butter to counter the harsh dry winter right now, and the pleasant scent lifts the mood as well!

For an uplifting and invigorating scent, try the aromatic Jolly Orange collection. As well, the sweetly scented Spiced Vanilla products are sure to please the masses {you cannot go wrong with vanilla!}. In this collection, your choices are fragrant soaps, shower gels and scrubs, luxurious lotions, lip balms, body butters and sensual candles, fragrance oils and diffusers. My favorite from this collection is the Spiced Vanilla body Scrub – washing those cares away with a sweet scented scrub!

For those who like a little age-defying action in their skin care regime, try The Body Shop’s Natrulift collection. This firming facial skin care regime {which has a cleanser, facial wash, toner, serum, day cream and night cream} features pomegranate extract, the natural alternative to retinol, which helps achieve firmer feeling skin on day one and softer looking wrinkles in four weeks. The pomegranate seed oil that The Body Shop uses, comes from pomegranates that are organically grown and hand harvested. To retain their natural goodness, the seeds are then cold-pressed. From the pomegranate pulp, The Body Shop sources an extract that helps to retain water within the skin and boost its suppleness, and help improve collagen production.

In addition to pomegranate, other natural ingredients, each ethically sourced from Community Trade suppliers around the world, are used in the Natrulift collection. Some are: moisturizing Brazil nut oil from Peru, soothing aloe vera from Guatemala and softening honey from organic sources.

The Body Shop also had perfume in their lineup, including Dreams Unlimited Perfume; inspired by the late Dame Anita Roddick, who said, “Whatever you can do, or dream, you can begin it”. This fragrance is feminine, fresh and youthful. The notes included in this fragrance is the uplifting orange oil, fruity blackcurrent, green chilli {yes, you read that right}, soft iris and cedarwood. In whole, this scent reminds me of youth – maybe a time when I first wore perfume. Yet, there is some spiciness to this perfume, which adds that grown-up appeal., Maybe the green chili? I think it’s a lovely scent, and I have really enjoyed wearing it since it’s arrival.

Now, a woman’s regime wouldn’t be complete without a little makeup! The Body Shop has the Baked-to-Last Makeup collection, innovative eye duos and blushers hand-baked on terracotta discs for intense color, incredible depth, rich coverage and long-lasting staying power.
Each product is unique with freshly milled powders, pure pigments and gorgeous shimmers, slow baked to perfection for 24-hours. The unique formula is enriched with Community Fair Trade organic olive oil from Italy and marula oil from Namibia, enhancing blendability and application. Made in Italy, the colors in this collection are to die for! I have used a little in the daytime and a lot at night, and I get the perfect look. And, I have to admit, the cute packaging is a bonus as well! The collection is available in eight exciting duo shades for the eyes and two beautiful blushers for the face. Each powder can be applied dry or, for added drama and richness of color, with a wet brush. Plus the shades can be layered for increased depth and intensity, giving you a myriad of different make-up options.
