If you have kids, and especially kids in daycare or school, you’ll know that ‘cough and cold season’ seems to be a year-round occurrence. Sickness can strike without warning, no matter what month or climate. Rather than running to the calendar, I listen to talk from other Moms. After all, if one child is sick, it’s bound to go around in some shape or form! This is why I really love the new Lysol campaign called Mission For Health. It’s an online community where everyday Moms {and Dad’s} can visit and find news on products, product savings, health tips, and chat with not only fellow parents, but a pediatrician as well. As a Mom, I know how fast and effective word-of-mouth is, and the Mission For Health campaign is a global tool for families in education on health.
Lysol invites you to join the Mission For Health, and become involved in their community. There are so many great tips, and advice, coupons and contests.
On the site you’ll find specific information relating to:
- School and health habits which help to decrease sick days
- Disaster relief
- Educational resources for new parents relating to theirs and infants’ heath.
You can also keep up on the latest in Lysol products as well, since they are dedicated to preventing the spread of germs and bacteria, thus providing for a cleaner surrounding and a healthier life.

This is so very important! Coming from a mom where one of my kids had a staph infect at 7 months and the other got meningitis. I think I’m pretty clean, but my boy’s still got sick. Wash you hands lots and lots. Cleaning door handles and the phone is something I do a lot with Lysol!
So very true Alissa.
That must have been one terrible time for you!
all my bathroom cleaners are lysol i feel its the best way to kill everything
LYSOL is my best friend! running a dayhome…you never seem to have time to grab the liquid cleaners..but there is no such thing as no time when i use the wipes!
I love the wipes and use them daily. Great for killing germs quickly with little ones running around.
The wipes are the best for disinfecting!!!
The LYSOL products are great for combating all kinds of nasty germs. I use the wipes to wipe down everything from my phone to the toilet handle.I also spray the LYSOL spray in my garbage can and any other place that collects germs.
Oooo, I’m going to sign up for this. I saw coupons in that list of stuff you can get there. Lol. I am a germ-a-phobe to the nth degree. My poor daughter, I didn’t even let her get dirty when she was little. I love Lysol products cause I know when I clean with them, the stuff I’m cleaning is actually getting clean.
Always have Lysol on hand in our household. Always washing up door handles, toliet hands and skin faucets. I think a lot of germs are spread on these items, so keep them and hands clean, clean, clean.
I love the wipes and the spray. I am always wiping everything as well, esp. remote controls, computer keyboards and the phones.
I need to get some more! I’m watching my friends kindergartner before/after school and my 2yo and 1yo are getting EVERYTHING he brings home… I’ve used more lysol in the past month than I usually do in a year!
Thanks for the website info. I’ll check it out for sure!
I love the Lysol wipes for quick clean-ups.
I love Lysol wipes. I know how quickly one cough spreads through the house.
great way to promote community awareness and volunterring
Great website! Both my boys have to go in for dental surgery within the next 2 months and I need to keep them healthy! Tough to do when they’re both in school where germs are spread around so easily.
I can always depend on lysol to kill germs in my bathroom and does so good for smelly shoes.
this is great! I’m a nursing student currently on a peds floor, and I think this would be a wonderful resource for me to recommend to parents about how to prevent illness! thanks for the advice!

Wonderful to see that Lysol is providing relief to help enable “Save the Children” to respond immediately to families in areas affected by disasters.
It’s very heartening to learn of Lysol’s Mission for Health and of their partnership with Save the Children. Bravo for their commitment to supporting disaster relief efforts where and when they are needed most!
