12 Dogs Of Christmas | DVD Review

Released today onto DVD and just in time for Christmas is the movie 12 Dogs of Christmas. Directed by Kieth Merrill and starring Richard Riehle & Mindy Sterling, this is a movie targeted to kids, which will get everyone into the Christmas spirit!

Movie Synopsis:
Upon being sent to live with her aunt in the small town of Doverville, 12-year-old Emma O’Conner finds herself in the middle of a ‘dog-fight’ with the Mayor and town dogcatcher. In order to strike down their ‘no-dogs’ law, Emma must bring together a group of schoolmates, grown-ups and adorable dogs of all shapes and sizes in a spectacular holiday pageant. The 12 Dogs of Christmas is a fun, heartwarming story featuring a diverse canine cast of over 101 pooches, perfect for all those who love dogs, kids and Christmas.

If there’s one sure hot with my kids, it’s a humorous movie which stars a bunch of adorable dogs! Forget the storyline, my kids were enchanted with over a hundred dogs. I caught some of the story and appreciated the good-natured spirit of the movie in bits and pieces. Yet, honestly, the kids were just too loud and excited over the canine cast. So they didn’t pay that much attention to the story at all, yet they did enjoy it for their own reasons. So, I call it a hit!

12 Dogs Of Christmas makes a great gift or stocking stuffer for the toddler or child. Funny, kid-friendly and packed full of adorable dogs. A kid can’t ask for more in a movie!

Thanks for the review, I hadn’t heard about this movie (where’s the PR) but it looks cute and something my dog loving niece would love. 100 real dogs, I would hate to have been on that set. :)
