Prince Lionheart boosterPOD | Review & Giveaway

As the Twins get older, my train of thought is moving away from highchairs and more into booster seats. This is the result of them starting to ask to sit with us at the table, and my own yearning to have more room in my kitchen again and say goodbye to the bulk of highchairs. Prince Lionheart, a company that started making rocking horses in 1973 are best known, to me, for their specialty in baby, nursery and safety products. Yet they also make a booster seat, called the boosterPOD. For our review seat, I chose the chocolate base with the green seat, since it matches our decor. I was tempted to get the pink and brown, since I adore that color combination, yet pink seems to be taking over this house and I wanted a more earthy and neutral tone. The boosterPOD also comes in orange, blue, yellow and has a white base option as well. All of them are very modern and trendy looking, don’t you agree?

The very first thing I noticed about the Prince Lionheart boosterPOD is the cushioning. The word ‘soft’ is an understatement, this is by far the most comfortable booster seat I have seen thus yet. We adults like a cushioned seat, so make sure to note that the kids do too {and comfort is key to their happiness at the dinner table. Well that and their favorite foods, that is}. This superb cushioning also keeps it from moving and sliding on chairs.

The boosterPOD has a 3 point harness, and when secured to the chair, it’s very safe. I like that they are secure in the boosterPOD since I’m not ready for them to roam during mealtimes yet. After eating, the boosterPOD does wipe down very well thanks to a smooth surface, it’s just as easy to clean as it looks. And that is really nice when you have Twins as well.The boosterPOD is lightweight enough to take on the go, which is something I do quite often. With two, I don’t have the option {nor patience} to feed the Twins on my lap or make a huge mess in someone else’s house. In fact, this Thanksgiving, the boosterPOD is coming along with us for dinner. Intended for kids ages 12 months to 4 years – the boosterPOD will be invited to our dinner table {and others’} for many years to come!
