The exclusive bears are called smallfrys, miniature replicas of past and present friends found at Build A Bear. For review, my girls got the cinnamon swirl bunny and the read teddy smallfrys.
To me, smallfrys aren’t really that miniature, almost being the same size of most of the girls’ stuffed animals. Yet, since Build A Bear friends are a bit larger in size, these are indeed a smaller version, to say the least. As soon as I op
ened the box and seen the smallfrys in person, I knew my kids would fall in love – they are adorable and very soft. In fact, my kids took a huge liking to their smallfrys – taking them everywhere. And, that is one bonus as I see it, they can be easily tossed into a bag whereas full-sized Build A Bears are too large to carry a lot. This is great for those kids that have to carry a friend with them everywhere. Plus, in line with all friends from Build A Bear, there plenty of accessories for the smallfrys too. Smallfrys also come at a cheaper price than other friends at Build A Bear, so they make great gifts. So, if you know of a little one who would like a smallfry this Christmas, you’d better hurry before they are gone. My only wish is that kids could build them in stores – smallfrys come already stuffed and ready to go.
