Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop

www.myorganizedchaos.net,

I have to admit, I like all the choices for mops on the market – it’s exciting to know that I don’t have to get down on my hands and knees and scrub in order to get a decent clean {hate that}. Yes, I like home innowww.myorganizedchaos.net,vations – call me domesticated. When I heard the buzz on Facebook that Rubbermaid had launched their new Reveal Spray Mop, I was intrigued. After all, I rely on their durable home storage solutions daily. I had the opportunity to review the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop in my home. The Reveal is a Microfiber Spray Mop and its intent is to not only clean your floors, but save money and waste less!

Included with the Reveal Spray Mop is 1 thick Microfiber Pad that attaches to the mop end by Velcro strips. And I have to tell you, these are pretty strong Velcro! So, you can actually attach the pad to the mop simply by setting the mop onto it. This pad can be machine washed and used up to 100 times.

The first thing I noticed about the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop is how light it is, by far the lightest mop I own. To operate, simply fill the bottle {it cowww.myorganizedchaos.net,mes with 2 bottles} with plain hot water. At this time, feel free to add your favorite cleaner to that water if you so wish. Then, you turn the bottle upside down and snap into place on the front of the Reveal Mop. To wash the floors, just pull the trigger and it sprays onto the floor – it’s that easy! It swivels and circles around nicely, as it has full range of motion. Plus, with the great size of the cleaning pad, it takes no time to wash the floors.

With most new mops on the market requiring special cleansers or suggestion no cleanser at all – I like that with the Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop, I can use my favorite cleanser again. If you currently don’t have your own favorite cleaner or would like to try a new solution, here are some cleaner recipes: {** Please follow all manufacture recommendations when choosing products to clean your floor}

Cleaning Solution for hardwood floorswww.myorganizedchaos.net,

  • 2 Tablespoons ammonia
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon of baby shampoo
  • Fill the rest with hot water

Cleaning Solution for glazed tiles, vinyl, soft tile, cement, brick, and laminate.

  • 2Tablespoons white vinegar
  • 2-3 drops liquid soap
  • Fill the rest with hot water

Cleaning Solution for unglazed tiles, marble, stone, and slate.

  • 2 Tablespoons baking soda
  • 2-3 drops liquid soap
  • Fill the rest with hot water
