Flat Iron Experts | KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron Review and Giveaway

by Tammi on 08/12/2010 · 1,001 comments

www.myorganizedchaos.net,

The best hair I could ever have is when I leave the salon. I am convinced their top quality styling tools assist in the creation of stylists’ masterpieces. And, I’ve always accepted the fact that Flat Iron bought in stores could never produce the same affect. That was until I tried out the KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron from Flat Iron Experts. You see, I have the type of hair that makes me go mad. It’s not quite straight and I wouldn’t call it wavy. In my experience, it’s always in a state of frizz, by it’s own desire and from the effects of coloring and damage. So, I have always used a flat iron, in attempts to tame the chaos! Yet, since I have become a Mom, I don’t have time to leisurely straighten strand by strand. I’m always on a time crunch, so if a Flat Iron doesn’t stand up to my timely demands, it won’t last long in my home.

www.myorganizedchaos.net,The KQC X-Heat is a tourmaline ceramic flat iron, meaning they produce less damage causing friction then old metal ones. Ever have your hair ripped out when trying to straighten? Yep, been there too. When I first tried this flat iron, I noticed right away that it was gentle on my hair – no pulling at hairs at all. One other benefit to tourmaline ceramic is that they generate negative ions to help tame frizz and preserve moisture in the hair. Since that is exactly my problem, I like that I can straighten a strand of my hair once and call it done {With other irons, I was re-doing one section many times in order to control the frizz}. One benefit to this iron that it can straighten, flip or produce curl, being a very useful tool to have on hand. I’m not one to take the time to use two styling tools {again, the time crunch each day}, so to have a multi-use tool like this is heaven-sent.

www.myorganizedchaos.net,The plates on the KQC X-Heat warm to 410°F in less than 30 seconds, yet you can choose your desired heat depending on your type of hair. For me, the 410°F setting is too hot for my hair, yet would be best for curly or very thick hair. I like my setting to be around 310°F. Being so fast and easy to use, I am done straightening my hair in under 6 minutes. My hair is left smooth and has a healthy glow after I use the KQC X-Heat, just like the results from a stylist. I am most impressed by this flat iron, realizing the difference that a salon-quality product can make at home. It saves me time, energy yet still meets my need for nicely styled hair.

Since I am new to curling my hair with a flat iron, I still need some practice. I have grown my hair longer, so it makes it more difficult to master the curled look {especially at the back}. Yet, I was pleased to find a great how-to curl your hair with a flat iron video, at Flat Iron Experts.

Rated as the #1 best flat iron, the KQC brand of flat iron is the brand most preferred in salons. And you can purchase the KQC X-Heat Flat Iron in salons for $250. But, thanks to online shopping and great Canadian shops like Flat Iron Experts, you can get this iron for $159. Plus, there is free shipping and a limited time offer for free gifts with purchase as well!

One reader is going to get their own KQC X-Heat Tourmaline Ceramic Flat Iron,
a retail value of $250!

I’d like to try the MAXIUS Maxiglide XP Ceramic Flat Iron / Hair Straightener (2″ inch) – MXP503 –Because tt looks super durable and the plates are huge, qualities I need in a flat iron as I have very long thick hair that takes for ever to straighten.
