Re-released today is the DVD, One Last Dance starring the late Patrick Swayze and his wife Lisa Niemi. And, Lisa Niemi also directed the movie as well!
One Last Dance Synopsis: In the wake of tragedy, a renowned New York dance company is on the brink of collapse. After leaving the dance world for good, Travis (Patrick Swayze), Chrissa and Max are pulled in to resurrect the dance that shattered their careers. They have one last chance to save the company, re-connect with the passion and the magic, and prove that miracles really happen.
Originally released more than 5 years ago, Patrick Swayze fans everywhere will watch One Last Dance again, just to reminisce on his career. And, if nothing else, the modern dance and music in this film is beautiful. He was certainly one talented dancer and actor, and that alone makes me appreciate this movie even more. His whole demeanor is gentle, and paired with his real-life love – it reinstates the movies’ quest for embracing love, gaining strength and achieving dreams. This is one movie that any ballet dancer, aspiring dancer or passionate fan of dance, needs to see.
