The Calgary Zoo

Our family has collected our Lay’s Chip Trip points, from bags of Lay’s potato chips. On the Lay’s Chip Trips website, you can redeem those points for savings on entertainment, attractions and for food – all across Canada. We recently made a trip to the Calgary Zoo {Alberta}, and yes, there is a coupon for 50% off admission to the Calgary Zoo {up to a family of 4}. That’s a huge savings!

The Calgary Zoo is a place we visit every year, yet this year they have some new features at the Zoo. They now have Dinosaurs Alive in their prehistoric park – they now move and roar! The kids {and adults} love walking through the trails of the badlands and seeing and hearing 20 animatronic dinosaurs, what a great feature that is a hit with all!

My girls loved seeing all the animals at the zoo, they went wild over the Lion and Elephants especially. The grounds are beautiful, and there’s plenty of room to roam even on a busy day. There are many learning opportunities for kids, and a ton of opportunities to play and run. We can’t wait to go back next year, there will be a new Penguins exhibit!
