I recently got an email Emma and Dennis, the duo behind the annual Blog Awards, by Online Schools & Awarding the Web. In their email, they notified me that My Organized Chaos had been recognized and awarded in their Top 60 Mom & Dad Blogs for 2010.
So, I had a peek myself,
and I seen that this blog is #8 out of the 60 awarded!
The awards come from Nominations and Voting for the last year, from the public and the people behind the awards. I had no idea that I was even nominated, so a huge THANK YOU to Emma and Dennis and those who nominated and voted for me!

About Awarding The Web Blog Awards
This award highlights the very best blogs written by moms and dads on the internet as selected by our judges and the internet community, and is designed to thank the authors for their contribution toward the world wide web we all use & enjoy.
Awards candidates are selected using two methods:
- Audience nominations
- Our team of research associates scouring the webAfter a list of candidates is compiled they are each scored by our panel of 5 judges. Each judge rates each blog across 20 different attributes providing it with a ‘subjective’ score. These ratings are combined into an aggregate, and the aggregates of the 5 judges are averaged to give the blog its final rating.
The ratings are then compared, and awards are given out to blogs in the 99% percentile (meaning the top 1% of blogs receive awards).
