Bounce Houses are seen in more and more yards these days, since buying them is now very similar to the price of renting them. In fact, they have some of the coolest {I have to use that term since they are designed with ‘ultimate fun’ in mind} blow-up bounce products I have seen. My family had the opportunity to review a bounce house from PlayHouse Bouncers – the SUPERSTAR. The SUPERSTAR is in their list of Indoor Bounce Houses, since the height allows it to fit in most homes. And, if we moved our downstairs furniture off to the side, I know it would indeed fit in our house. Yet, since it’s the summer months and the weather cries for us to be outdoors – when our SUPERSTAR bounce house arrived, we set it up outside. Our bounce house arrived right in the middle of a snowstorm in Western Canada, so we had to wait a few days until we could test it out. Now, that was tough! But at first chance, we eagerly took the house to the backyard and begun setup. The SUPERSTAR comes with:

It was very simple to set up, and the video below is from our first time testing it out. In under one minute of attaching the house to the Air Blower – the house was erect and ready. Since we have another brand of blow-up water slide – we immediately noticed that the SUPERSTAR from PlayHouse Bouncers has a very thick interwoven oxford cloth, with an inner air membrane for support. I could truly feel the difference in strength and thickness between the two, and the SUPERSTAR is a lot more durable.

Taking down the SUPERSTAR Bounce House is a breeze too, just push the air out and fold until it’s the size of the included carry bag. And, unlike our other brand of bouncer – this one actually fits in the bag! {jump for joy, that MUST be a first!} I did need some help to fold it up the first couple of times, yet now I fold and store the house on my own without problem.

The kids love the SUPERSTAR, we use it at every chance. Being so easy to set up and take down – we do use it all the time. Isabelle loves practicing her flips and turns – and the Twins jump with ease. The SUPERSTAR boasts the largest jumping area of all the bouncers at PlayHouse Bouncers {Including the slide, the overall inflated footprint is approximately 12 Wide x 14 Deep x 7 High}. And I really like the bigger size, since there is plenty of room for the toddlers and older children to jump safely. When looking for a bouncer for your family, please do take size into consideration – for safety, comfort and the ability to have a couple of the kids’ friends to come over and enjoy it too.

The SUPERSTAR reminds me of a bounce house that you would rent for a birthday party – it’s huge, and very colorful with star details. In fact, this would be ideal for birthday parties {we’ll be using it for my girls’ birthday parties this summer}, as well as everyday entertainment!

To get in and out of the SUPERSTAR Bounce House, is a doorway in the netting, secured by heavy duty Velcro. At 5, my oldest daughter can easily go in and out of the bounce house on her own. Yet, at 2, the twins really have to break a sweat to undo one of the Velcro tabs. This is a great safety feature and an example of superb quality!

The slide at the entryway to the SUPERSTAR Bounce House proves to be a blast in itself too {especially for the Twin Toddlers}. It was hilarious to first watch them stumble up and down this little slide when big sister was jumping inside. Yet, now they have mastered that art of balance and coordination. Having the SUPERSTAR Bounce House is kind of like a gynmastics class, homestyle! A favorite among my kids and their friends, I’m asked almost every morning if it’s nice enough outside to ‘go jumping’. Since I’d like to keep the SUPERSTAR Bounce House as an outdoor toy for the summer, don’t tell the kids that it can fit inside the house too. I’ll save that for this winter!
