As a Mom to some craft-loving children, I’m always on the hunt for some great ideas at keeping the kids’ creative juices flowing. And, it’s true that crafting shouldn’t have to cost much at all, all you need is a few basic supplies and some imagination. Yet, sometimes help is needed to come up with some fresh ideas. I know we always get in a crafting rut, always doing the same projects over and over again. This is why I think you’ll like the FedEx Office blog, called Out of Office. It is full of great ideas for projects and crafts to combat everyday boredom, all the way to DIY ideas for baby showers to Father’s Day Gifts and more. Whether it’s for their own amusement and displayed proudly on the fridge, to personalized home made gifts – kids can have fun and be creative in their masterpieces!
One such project from the FedEx Out of Office Blog is instructions on how to make your own bookmarks. All you need is some paper, stickers, ribbon and crayons. Isabelle was able to cut out her own rectangles, and decorate them as she wished. Kids can use photos, magazine photos, glitter, stickers – anything that they need to truly make it ‘theirs’. Isabelle liked making her bookmarks – one for her {she loves using it now that she’s reading by herself} and 2 others as gifts for a friend and family member. And, she is so proud of them. See, very simple! In the future, the Out of Office blog will feature contests and giveaways, themed series, how-to videos, and the creative insights of guest bloggers and customers. I’m bookmarking this blog as a great resource for future ideas, maybe they’ll be more outdoor projects for kids for my kids’ birthday parties this summer!
I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central on behalf of FedEx Office and received the items necessary to facilitate my review. In addition, Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”
