Kraft Sizzling Salads and Kraft Refrigerated Dressings

With May long weekend behind us in Canada, comes a feeling of peace knowing that *hopefully* Mother Nature graces us with beautiful weather for the rest of the summer. Considering this, now is the time of year to start planning a whole new menu for your family. Outdoor BBQ’s, social gatherings or just a more simplified way of cooking – so that you can spend less time prepping and cooking, and more time enjoying the season. Kraft has new Entree Salad Kits out in stores called Sizzling Salads. The goal was to create restaurant-quality salads, right in your own kitchen. Each kit comes with 2 products for your salad, one sauce to use when cooking, and the other is dressing. I was really excited to review the Chicken Caesar Sizzling Salad Kit, since our entire family adore Caesar Salad. Since it’s the one guaranteed hit with the family, I like to cook it often – and was eager to let Kraft spruce up our families’ favorite meal.

The cooking sauce that comes with the Caesar Salad Kit is Cracked Black Pepper. When my diced chicken was almost fully cooked, I added just 2 tbsp of this sauce to the chicken. The initial scent of peppers and spices was enough to make my stomach growl! And, since little is needed for each meal, this sauce will go a long way!

Then, I mixed the dressing that came with the Kit, the Classic Caesar Dressing – to my greens, croutons and bacon. I must say, having such a love for Caesar Salad, I am very picky when it comes to the taste of my dressing. And the Classic Caesar Dressing int he Sizzling Salads Kit is absolutely delicious! It’s a nice thick dressing that has a great classic taste! Then, I topped our salads with the Chicken. Mmmmmm!!! This makes such a wonderful Caesar salad. And, the kids gobbled it up! I like that Kraft thought of us busy parents when they came out with the Sizzling Salad Kits – each one is perfectly paired with a sauce and dressing to make such a wonderful meal!

Other than the Caesar Salad Kit I received, there is also Asian Chicken, Southwest Chicken and Greek Chicken! Oftentimes, I ask my friend what they are cooking for supper that night, just to get new ideas for our own meals. I was pleased to hear that many of my friends and familyhave since tried Kraft’s Sizzling Salads since I started talking about them – and they all like them as much as I do. It’s always nice to try out new products with my family, tell others about it – and hear some ‘thanks for the recommendation!’ after they try it too. I know that the Sizzling Salad Kits will be present on our dinner table {or patio table} many times this summer!
