Shoo Shoos | A Springtime Full of Smiles!

ShooShoos is a brand of natural leather baby shoes which are made in Cape Town, South Africa. Their signature look stands out because of the little touches throughout the shoes that make parents take notice and keep the babies and toddlers looking their best. For instance, every pair has a smiley face design on the soles, which are then imprinted into soft surfaces onto which they walk. And, if you have a crawling baby, seeing the smiling soles of ShooShoos as they motor around, is just too cute! Yet it’s important to note that these smiles on the soles started as a way to uplift disadvantaged communities – yet these smiles ultimately spread further than expected, now gaining worldwide attention.
There are two type of shoes to choose from at ShooShoos: soft soled shoes that have way more detail then just one design on tops of them. And, there are ShooShoos with the light flexi soles, and these I was able to review on the Twins. Proving that the styles at ShooShoos are very appealing, I had a hard time choosing one pair from ShooShoos for review. I ultimately decided on the Pink Smiley / Butterfly pair – which are perfect for Spring!

The Pink Smiley / Butterfly shoe is great because of the smart deign. Not only does it have the elasticized ankle, yet when combined with the Velcro strap – this doubles for a comfortable and reliable fit. I am able to put this pair on the girls and have them keep it on {without the hassles of messing with laces}. The sole is very flexible, you can even fold them lengthwise! This is especially nice for those that love the movement of a soft sole, yet needs some support and protection from a hard sole. The flexi light deign at ShooShoos provides a little of both, as their soled shoes are just as versatile as the soft soles. The Nappa leather {100% safe and non-toxic} is soft and supple, even when touching the butterfly design. And the quality is fantastic, no cutting of corners when it comes to manufacturing! The girls love their ShooShoos – they get excited to see them, eager to put them on and then run and smile when they wear them.

ShooShoos would make a wonderful gift {sizing up to 24 months}, whether it be for a baby shower, birthday, or as a ‘just-because-kids’-shoes-are-adorable’ treat! They even come packaged in a cute little clear bag with handles, ready for gift-giving.
