Around The Table Games is an award winning company that Beth Daniels, the creator and owner, started to provoke conversation between family members. In a day where communication is mostly digital and everyone is so busy from day to day - it's important to step back, focus attention on one another and learn about each other. The games encourages kids and adults alike,
to talk on many levels.
For review, we were sent the Family Talk and the Buddy Talk games. They each consist of 50 flash-type cards that are placed on a handy key ring. And, each has a question on it,
for all to answer.
Examples from the Family Talk game are:
~ What is your favorite family tradition from your childhood?
~ What is your favorite meal Made by mom or Dad?
~ If you could give your parents on gift, what would it be?
Most can be applied to children, or changed slightly to include them. Yet, I can see this a fun game among adults, like at gatherings~ What is your favorite meal Made by mom or Dad?
~ If you could give your parents on gift, what would it be?
and family reunions.
Examples from the Buddy Talk include:~ What worries you the most?
~ What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
The Buddy Talk features questions that I think would be most enjoyable by teenagers {yet I would participate for sure!} Less serious than the Family Talk, most of the questions from the Buddy Talk made me chuckle.~ What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you?
This game can be taken anywhere and would also make a great thing to have on hand, for road trips. And there is no worries in losing the cards, thanks to the key ring. I have experienced all emotions in hearing Isabelle's answers to these questions. We have a lot of fun with these Around The Table Games, and we get to know each other so much more!
Games are a great choice for gifting at any time of the year. This one can include the whole family and is compact {unlike huge board games}. Beginning at $7.99 each, it's a small price to pay for the valuable insight they can offer.A great stocking stuffer...
~ 2 readers are each going to get their choice of any2 Around The Table Games!
{SORRY - This contest has ended}
TO ENTER: Visit Around The Table and tell me which 2 you'd like to have, and why.
2 Winners in the Around The Table Games #giveaway in the2009 Holiday Gift Guide at My Organized Chaos http://tinyurl.com/yf7thrc

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 241 Newer› Newest»I like the buddy talk and the teen talk

I am a follower on google

I'd like to have the Grandparent Talk because I have 3 granddaughters and this would be a great game to show them that their papa and I were once young. I'm sure this game will stir up alot of giggling. LOL
I would also choose the Family Talk because I have 3 grown children and what better way to get the entire family together for some fun and laughs.
Love to win this giveaway. Please enter me. Thanks

Since we are going to be grandparents soon, I would like the Family Talk and the Grandparent Talk games. These are great for starting good meaningful conversations.

I would get family talk - to use on our Saturday night games night, and Buddy Talk to help connect with my neices and nephews better, whenever we get together for holidays....like Christmas!
I would choose family talk and grandparent talk. Family talk would be great to take with us on those long family trips in the car and grandparent talk is perfect to get my kids engaging with their grandparents and having them learn more about each other.
What an excellent idea on how to get communication rolling. I would chose the 2 that you highlighted: the family and the buddy talk. The Camp talk looks interesting but we don't camp enough to make it work. LOL! Thanks for offering such great freebie promotions! I am a FB fan and my email address is:

I would choose Family Talk2 and Buddy Talk. These are really cute.

We would pick the family talk and the buddy talk. One for our family game night and the other would make a great sleepover activity for when my kids have friends over!

I would choose the Family Talk 1 & Family Talk 2. We have 4 boys ranging from 14 to 6. This would be great fun to do at dinner time!

I'd like Family Talk and Family Talk 2. I like the idea of these games. Getting families to talk is a great idea.
mamie316(at)sbcglobal(dot)net
I'd like Grandparent Talk and Family Talk. My parents watch our kids a lot, so that's why I'd like that one, of course it's always good for family to talk.
I would like the Family Talk and Teen Talk games because the question examples sound fun.

I would love the buddy talk cause I spend a lot of time mentoring teenagers and it would be a fun game to play with them. Family talk would be great way to get serious conversations started.

I'd like Grandparent Talk since I have a toddler that loves to play games with Mimi and Paw Paw. I'd also like Family Talk because we love games in our family. These are great because they're so portable for the car or vacations.

I would probably go with a camp talk, since camp is GREAT, and a family talk so we can spend some time together.
I'd like Buddy Talk to facilitate friendship between some kids and Family Talk to build communication in the family.
