5-in-1 Tasty Baker

One of my daughters' favorite things to do, is make pancakes on a lazy morning. So I was excited for the opportunity to review the 5-in-1 Tasty Baker {by Pop Art Toaster}. This appliance is best known for making edibles in fun shapes {easier than a cookie cutter!} You just pour the batter into the mold and cook much like any other
waffle/pancake maker would.
The kid-friendly shapes are a: Cat, Dog, Train, Blocks, a Heart,
a Smiley Face and a Cake.

It's compact and lightweight, very easy to store even in the smallest of spaces. It cooks really fast and through experience, I'd suggest filling the molds quite full. And, I use cooking spray, just to make sure they don't stick to the plates. There's an adjustable thermostat, and an indicator light to let you know when the plates are hot enough to cook. Isabelle helps me mix the batter and I use the appliance. Even though the outside stays pretty cool, for now she mainly watches and waits until the treats are ready. A friend of hers was over one day and we used the 5-in-1 Tasty Baker. Now, that's all they talk about - begging to use it all the time. For me, it's pretty simple both to use and clean up {thanks to the included batter scoop and cleaning brush}. And, we do use the 5-in-1 Tasty Baker quite often. For the kids, it's just a lot more fun to eat character pancakes. I'm pleased with this appliance, coming from someone who tried to pour the batter into various shapes...doesn't work so well for me. This is a shortcut to getting those shapes, and having them actually look like what they are intended to!

The Pop Art Toaster website has recipes that you can use with their products. Not only for pancakes, this appliance can also make eggs, waffles, muffins, brownies and bread. Bite sized kitty muffins? Now how can't that be a hit with kids?

The standard 5-in-1 Tasty Baker isn't the only cool product from Pop Art Toaster! There are others - with Disney character themed plates, and tasters that imprint toast in a variety of saying and designs. For kids of all ages, these products would make a pretty unique and much-loved gift {and the adults are pretty impressed as well}.
