Zaida Baby: My First Keepsake Memory Book

There's a baby book...and then there is THE perfect baby keepsake book. Finding the right one is sometimes nerve wracking, there is so much information to store. And since it's meant to be cherished for many many years, picking the right one is essential. There is so much information that can go into a baby book, but have you seen one that cherishes the moments and more importantly, the feelings from the very first moment you discovered you were pregnant?

You won't see any pastels with little Bunnies on the cover - this book is entirely in black and white with a hardbound black cover. I suggest you choose the pen that writes on this book wisely, the pages are glossy {it is recommended to use a sharpie}. Yet, rest assured that this book will be cherished for many years, as the pages are printed on
acid-free archival paper
{which are also FSC approved recycled paper}.

The first 95 pages of the book are beautiful maternity photos taken by the creator of the book, Sandy Jamieson. Along with these pictures is affirmations and promises made to an unborn child which literally brought me to tears. Starting right at pregnancy, this book encourages you to share your deepest thoughts on being a parent and bringing a child into the world. It's a welcome place to record all the hopes and dreams for your child, even before he or she is born. Then, from birth through a child's first year, there is plenty of room to record not only their first word and haircut, but a sentimental place to share stories of parenting. And, there is still plenty of places to put those cherished photographs as well.

I think Sandy captured the true meaning of what a baby book should be. Personally, I would love the most to know what my mother felt when she heard me laugh, and not just the date in which I did. In this sense, I consider it a perfect mix between the typical baby book, and a detailed journal. Zaida Baby: My First Keepsake Book is very precious, elegant and classy. Usually, baby books are typically safely tucked away in a cedar chest. Yet I think Zaida Baby is made to be publicly displayed, for all to enjoy and celebrate.
